The Ventura Chamber of Commerce is exploring the feasibility of creating a film office for the City of Ventura.

Research is required in two specific areas: Financial Business Plan and the Marketing Plan. A one to five year business plan is required to secure the initial funding for the film office. It is the desire of the chamber to enlist the services of a team to conduct research for each of the components of the business plan.

Meetings have been held with representation from the City of Ventura, Technology Development Center, Ventura College, Brooks Institute of Photography, CSU Channel Islands, Santa Barbara Business College, Seaside Park, Ventura Visitors & Convention Bureau, California State Parks, Ventura Harbor District, ECDC of Oxnard, Limoneria and the Ventura Commerce and Education Foundation.
